Front Office Coordinator
Paula is the first pleasant face our patients meet when they come to our office. She provides prompt assistance to our visitors and she is also our resident computer expert. Paula has been with us since 1998 and is a beloved part of our office family. She loves working with Dr. Sankey and the team. Paula and her husband, Randy both native Texans, have had 30+ happy years together raising their two sons. They are happy that both sons Blake, Drew, daughter-in-law Melissa and grandaughter Hailey live near by. Paula and Randy have two Yorkshire Terrier pups, Teddy and Ginny, to keep them entertained. Paula likes to crochet, sew, shop, travel, and playing with her granddaughter.
Before patients meet with Dr. Sankey, Pam greets the patient and family and takes them on a tour of our office. She makes sure they are comfortable and gets to know each visitor individually while discussing their orthodontic needs. Pam has been with Dr. Sankey since 2000 and enjoys the compassion of orthodontics and how a beautiful smile can impact a patient’s self esteem and personality. She also brings a tremendous knowledge of orthodontics and the dental field in general. Pam has a full life outside the office, with husband of 35+ years, Mike, and their busy dog Bella. Their adult children, Natalie and Shane, are both married and live in the DFW area. They LOVE family time, especially since Natalie and husband Brian have blessed them with 3 grandchildren Brynn, Grant, and Luke.
Financial/ Insurance Coordinator
Amber is trusted to manage our patient accounts from a financial and insurance perspective. She works hard on the business side of our practice so that everyone else can concentrate on excellent orthodontic care. Amber is very caring with our patients and their families. She is determined to always find the best way to fit the cost of orthodontic care into every families budget and find every dime available to them from insurance companies. Amber worked in the general dentistry field for 15 years prior to joining our team in 2014 and brings a great knowledge of insurance workings in all aspects of dentistry. Amber is also our social media go to person. Amber was born and raised in Lewisville, where she still resides with her two teenage daughters Faith and Lynden. Amber loves to spend her free time with her girls and extended family who still live locally. Amber is also a patient of Dr. Sankey. She had suffered jaw issues since childhood, having had double jaw surgery in her 20’s, she still suffered with chronic jaw pain. Dr. Sankey treated Amber with Invisalign and it vastly helped her TMJ issues and improved her smile.
Margaret assists Dr. Sankey throughout the orthodontic care process. She also keeps our office well stocked with clinical supplies. Margaret has been with us since 1998 and she has dedicated her life to providing life-changing care for the young people who come to our practice. She greatly respects Dr. Sankey’s excellence in orthodontics and his ethical character. With over 40 years in the field, a compliment like that coming from Margaret is quite an honor. Margaret enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart Marshall, dog Bentley and their 3 grown children. She especially loves to spoil her two grandchildren Kiley and Brennan and her 5 granddogs. Margaret is a big LSU fan and a real favorite of all the patients and parents.
LeighAnn joined the Flower Mound Orthodontics family in 2014 with 13 years of prior orthodontics experience. LeighAnn’s favorite part of her job is building patients self-esteem and helping to keep the patient educated through their treatment with our office. LeighAnn’s fun personality has made her a favorite with the patients and parents. She has earned the nickname Speedy Gonzales due to her efficient and super quick abilities. LeighAnn married her high school sweet heart Bryan in 2009. They have two young daughters Stella and Claire. In her spare time LeighAnn enjoys shopping, a good hamburger, and cheering on the Dallas Mavericks.
After completing her Associates degree, Brittney’s interest turned towards dentistry. It wasn’t until having braces herself that she realized her love of orthodontics and how much it made a difference in people’s lives. She knew she wanted to be part of that! Brittney enrolled in dental assisting school and joined Dr. Sankey’s practice right after graduating. Brittney’s fantastic work ethic and eagerness to learn has made her a great asset to our office. Patients love Brittney’s kind spirit and gentle nature. She has quickly become a favorite with patient’s and the Flower Mound Orthodontic team. Brittney enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, and their dog Kreiger. Matt’s military career moved the California natives around for 5 years while serving in the Marines. The couple is excited to “lay roots down” in Texas having just built a new home.
